This incident caused the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
